Trifecta Challenge

So, this week's Trifecta prompt kind of took me awhile to figure out, but this is what I came up with:

*****************************************************

Don’t look at me that way.

Yes, I know what I’m saying is crazy. But what I saw was just as crazy.

Don’t ‘this wormhole thing’ me. I saw a wormhole or a portal or some sort of rift in the time-space continuum or whatever you want to call it.

I’ve seen it three times on the way back from my weekly… appointments.

What kind of appointment doesn’t matter… no it doesn’t…. fine, I was coming back from my psychiatrist….. Yes, we’re still working out my dosage on my anti-psychotic medications. But I’m better, really. I know I called you guys and told you Oprah was on my roof during one of my episodes, but…. Yes I’m aware calling the police and telling them the spawn of Satan had taken over my neighbor’s dog doesn’t make me very believable…. Now that incident with the barbeque fork and the neighbor’s kid was a complete misunderstanding.

Would you stop with the eyebrow raising and the eye rolling and just listen to me? On the way back from my appointments, at usually between 12:05 to 12:10, if I got stopped  at the light on 3rd and K streets I’d see this white van with a license plate TMETVLR get halfway through an intersection and then just disappear. I’m telling you, that van never makes it to the other side of the street. Today was the third time I've seen it.

Would you please just look into it? Please? Listen, I grant you that my past experiences have rendered any farfetched story I give you at the very least weak and at the most preposterous and insane. If I were you I wouldn’t listen to me either. But the thing is I really, really need you to, just this once listen to me and make sure I’m not going crazy again.

Just help me confirm the meds are still working and they don’t have to put me back into the institution. Please.

******************************************************

Okay, I might have to explain this one just a smidge. I had this idea of a character who had seen something incredible, and felt with conviction it had happened, only the character's past lead people to believe they are completely crazy. Don't know why this came to me.

This is an interesting idea. Sort of like the boy who cried wolf meets Back to the Future meets Doctor Who haha I like it.

It's always the people that would never be believed that see this kind of thing. Are they crazy or just more observant than the rest of us?
